
Executive Vice President

George Johnson is a highly experienced senior financial and administrative management professional qualified by twenty years in the military followed by twenty years in senior executive positions in both profit and non-profit corporations. His competencies in financial management, human resources, risk management, corporate governance and management improvement make him uniquely qualified to serve the clients of the firm.
After graduating from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, George served in various junior officer positions before assuming command of Coast Guard Group Rockaway on Long Island, New York. He then earned both Master of Business Administration and Master of Public Administration degrees at the University of Miami before his assignment to Washington, DC. He completed his military career in Miami as Deputy Group Commander of Group Miami and finally as Personnel Officer for the Southeast United States and the Caribbean.
Mr. Johnson joined the private sector as Vice President of Administration at Challenge Air Cargo followed by a similar position at Arrow Air before entering the non-profit sector at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church as Director of Administration. He most recently completed an assignment at Westminster Christian School in a newly created position of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Johnson has also been involved with The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) since its inception in the early 90’s and has served as its Treasurer since 1997. George recently joined the Doug Williams Group as Executive Vice President.
In addition to his service to TIACA, George has served on several Boards of Directors including the American Society for Public Administration (Miami Chapter), Sea Seven Credit Union, Westminster Christian School and the Westminster Christian School Foundation.
