
Oswaldo Runha has over 33 years of dealership network experience with Caterpillar, Inc., and its subsidiary companies, throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Oswaldo has extensive experience in sales team performance improvement that spans multiple industries, various market segments, and encompasses diverse numbers of products and services in Machine, Power Systems, Product Support and Rental categories.
Mr. Runha has designed and implemented several competency-based sales performance improvement programs which have been proven to directly impact on business results such as revenue, profit and customer satisfaction.
Over the past 5 years, as a Senior Learning Consultant for Caterpillar University, Oswaldo successfully deployed a Sales Effectiveness Process that is currently being used in 45 Caterpillar dealers in the Americas.
Oswaldo was an aviator cadet in the Brazilian Air Force; earned a bachelor degree in Economics, at Sao Luis University (Sao Paulo, Brazil), and earned a Master of Science degree in Systems Analysis, at the National Space Research Institute (Sao Paulo, Brazil).
Oswaldo has lived in Miami, Florida since 1999 and last year, with his wife Beatriz, obtained United States citizenship. His greatest love is to interact with others who want to learn, share, help, and improve the world around them.
