The Doug Williams Group supports Community Health of South Florida staff professional development.

The Doug Williams Group recently distributed two cash awards from the endowment established by the firm for the benefit of Community Health of South Florida (CHI). The endowment was created to provide a perpetual source of financial support for professional development activities of award recipients. Recipients are selected based upon exemplary service to patients. This year’s award winners were Ms. Sharon Green and Ms. Tiffany Goode, both currently attending the Nursing Transitional Program at Miami Dade College. CHI is a non-profit healthcare organization providing affordable quality primary and behavioral health care services to residents of South Florida. CHI operates seven state-of-the-art primary care centers and seventeen school based programs.

The Doug Williams Group introduces customizable, web-based 360° performance evaluation system to clients.

The Doug Williams Group (DWG) has introduced a unique, web-based performance evaluation technology to clients. The system features fully customizable performance competencies and survey questions, immediate access to robust reporting features, and realtime use statistics. The system also has the capability to integrate with commonly utilized HR database systems. DWG provides personalized coaching to assist in the development and implementation of professional development plans. The Doug Williams Group plays a major role in the award winning Sonesta Bayfront Hotel – Coconut Grove green certification initiative.

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection recently determined that the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel-Coconut Grove had met all of the requirements to become a designated member of The Florida Green Lodging Program, making it the first hotel in Coconut Grove to receive this honor. The Doug Williams Group contributed to the hotel’s green initiative by designing and implementing computer-based guest satisfaction surveys. State-of-the-art touch screen monitors were installed at the hotel’s check-out desk to capture guest feedback, eliminating the need for paper surveys. The guest satisfaction stations were featured on the popular NBC program South Florida Today. The program segment Departure Lounge aired November 11, 2008.
